The shade

A wide, shallow disc in deep red. Glossy on top, the edge catches light and glows slightly when lit. The shape is mid-century: low, broad, geometric.

The base

Cherry-toned wood with a slim brass stem. The base is substantial enough to balance the wide shade without looking heavy — that's the proportion that makes it work.

Two shades, your choice

Ruby Red: deep, warm-toned glass that glows burgundy when lit.

Transparent: clear glass that throws the light through unchanged — brighter, more direct.
